Perfect for summer barbecues or a warm indoor meal, these kebabs are infused with fresh parsley, savory spices, and aromatic garlic. Simple yet delicious, they bring a touch of tradition and a burst of vibrant flavors to your table.
Ingredients
🥩 2 1/2 to 3 pounds ground beef (88% lean, 12% fat)
🌿 1 cup parsley
🧅 1/2 onion
🧄 4 cloves garlic
🧂 1 tablespoon salt
🌶️ 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
🌶️ 1 teaspoon crushed red peppers
🧂 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1- Prepare the Aromatics:
- Begin by roughly chopping the parsley, onion, and garlic.
- Add these to a blender and pulse until well combined into a paste-like consistency.
2- Flavor the Ground Beef:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with the parsley, onion, and garlic mixture.
- Add the salt, smoked paprika, crushed red peppers, and black pepper to the beef. Mix thoroughly until all elements are fully integrated.
3- Shape the Kebabs:
- With water at hand to prevent sticking, take a portion of the beef mixture and shape it around a skewer. Aim for an even distribution to ensure consistent cooking.
- Repeat with the remaining mixture. Ensure your kebabs are uniformly shaped and securely attached to the skewers.
4- Grill the Kebabs:
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Place the kebabs on the grill and cook for 3 to 4 minutes on each side, flipping as needed until they are cooked through and have a slight char on the outside.
- Be mindful of not overcooking to retain the juicy texture.
5- Serve:
- Once grilled, remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Pair with grilled vegetables such as onions, hot peppers, and tomatoes for an authentic touch.
