Instructions
1- Prepare Ingredients:
- Cut the chicken breasts into thin bite-size strips.
2- Heat Oil:
- Heat a large pan over high heat and add the olive oil.
- Allow the oil to become hot before proceeding.
3- Cook Chicken:
- Add the chicken strips to the pan, followed by ranch seasoning, paprika, chili powder, Lawry's seasoned salt, garlic powder, chili flakes, black pepper, and oregano.
- Stir well to coat the chicken evenly with the spices and cook for about 7 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
4- Add Vegetables:
- Add sliced mushrooms, onions, and bell peppers into the pan with the chicken.
- Mix well and cook for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the vegetables to soften and the flavors to meld.
5- Melt Cheese:
- Place slices of Provolone cheese (or your favorite cheese) on top of the mixture in the pan.
- Cover with a lid and let it cook until the cheese has melted.
- Once melted, remove the lid and turn off the heat.
6- Assemble Sandwiches:
- Place a layer of lettuce on the bottom half of each sandwich roll.
- Fill the roll with the chicken and mushroom mixture, and add slices of fresh tomatoes on top.
7- Serve:
- Serve the sandwiches warm.
- For a twist, you can also use a tortilla to make a wrap or serve the mixture over a bed of lettuce and top with tomatoes for a healthier, low-carb option.
