Ingredients

Instructions

1- Cook the Chicken:

  • Place a pan over high heat and add the finely chopped chicken breast.
  • Cook for about 10 minutes or until thoroughly cooked, stirring occasionally.

2- Prepare the Filling:

  • Once the chicken is cooked, add 1 tablespoon each of ginger paste and garlic paste to the pan.
  • Mix in 2 tablespoons of chili garlic sauce and stir well to combine.

3- Add Vegetables and Sauces:

  • Add the shredded carrots to the pan and cook for a few minutes until slightly softened.
  • Add the shredded cabbage, 1/4 cup of soy sauce, and 1/3 cup of teriyaki sauce.
  • Stir everything together and continue cooking until the cabbage softens slightly.

4- Drain and Cool the Filling:

  • Transfer the filling to a colander to drain any excess liquid.
  • Allow the filling to cool completely before assembling the egg rolls.

5- Assemble the Egg Rolls:

  • Mix 2 tablespoons of flour with water to form a paste for sealing the egg rolls in a small bowl.
  • Place one egg roll wrapper on a flat surface and add 2 tablespoons of filling onto it.
  • Roll it up snugly, using the flour paste to seal the edges. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

6- Fry the Egg Rolls:

  • Heat oil in a deep pan until hot.
  • Carefully add the egg rolls and fry them until golden brown and crispy, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Remove and drain on a paper towel.
