🫒 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
🧂 1 teaspoon salt
🧊 3 ice cubes
Pita Chips:
🥙 5 pita breads (cut into triangles)
🥑 Avocado spray
Garnishing:
🥒 Pickled turnips
🥒 Pickles
🌺 Sumac
🌿 Parsley
🫒 Extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
1- Prepare the Chicken Shawarma:
- Chop the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large bowl, mix together the vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic, and all the spices.
- Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated.
- Heat a skillet over high heat and cook the marinated chicken until all the liquid evaporates and the chicken is cooked through.
2- Make the Hummus:
- In a blender or food processor, combine the chickpeas, garlic, lemon juice, tahini, olive oil, salt, and ice cubes.
- Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste, if needed.
3- Prepare the Pita Chips:
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Cut the pita breads into triangles and spray lightly with avocado spray.
