Ingredients

🥄 1/2 cup olive oil
🍝 1 cup vermicelli
🌾 2 cups bulgur (#2 or #3 grind)
🥄 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon (or vegetable bouillon)

🥣 4 cups chicken broth (or vegetable broth)


Instructions

1- Prepare the Pot:

  • Place a large pot over high heat and pour in the olive oil.
  • Heat until the oil shimmers.

2- Toast the Vermicelli:

  • Add the vermicelli to the pot.
  • Stir constantly until golden in color.

3- Combine with Bulgur:

  • Rinse bulgur under cold water.
  • Add it to the pot and mix well for even flavoring.

4- Season the Mix:

  • Sprinkle chicken (or vegetable) bouillon evenly.
  • Add black pepper and distribute by stirring.

5- Simmer with Broth:

  • Pour in the chicken (or vegetable) broth and stir.

7- Rest and Soften:
