Ingredients

🍞 2 large slices sourdough bread
🥄 2 tablespoons mayonnaise

Instructions

1- Preheat Skillet:

  • Start by preheating your skillet (preferably cast-iron) over low heat. This ensures a crisp, golden crust without burning.

2- Prep the Tomatoes:

  • Thinly slice the tomato and place the slices on a paper towel to absorb excess moisture. This step keeps your sandwich from becoming soggy.

3- Prepare the Bread:

  • Lay out the sourdough slices on your work surface. Evenly spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on one side of each slice.
  • Sprinkle some garlic powder over the mayonnaise.
  • Flip the slices over; the mayonnaise side will serve as the crust for the sandwich.

4- Assemble the Sandwich:
