🌶️ 2 teaspoons paprika
🌿 1 teaspoon cumin
🧄 1 teaspoon garlic powder
🌰 1 teaspoon onion powder
🌶️ 1 teaspoon chili powder
🔥 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
🧂 1/2 teaspoon salt
🌿 1 teaspoon oregano
🍋 Juice of 2 limes
🫒 3 tablespoons olive oil
🌮 Flour tortillas
🥑 Guacamole
🌿 Cilantro (for topping)
🧅 Onion (for topping)
Instructions
1- Prepare the Chicken:
- Dice the chicken thighs into small, bite-sized pieces.
- In a mixing bowl, season the chicken with Lawry's seasoned salt, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, cayenne pepper, salt, oregano, and lime juice.
- Mix well to ensure the chicken is fully coated in the marinade.
- Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight for maximum flavor.
2- Cook the Chicken:
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Once the oil is hot, add the marinated chicken to the skillet.
- Cook the chicken, stirring occasionally, until it is fully cooked and no longer pink in the center, about 8-10 minutes.
3- Toast the Tortillas:
- In a separate pan, lightly toast the flour tortillas on each side until they are warm and slightly crispy.
4- Assemble the Tacos:
- Start by spreading a generous layer of guacamole on each tortilla.
- Add a serving of the cooked chicken, followed by a sprinkle of onions and cilantro.
- For an extra burst of flavor, squeeze a little more lime juice on top just before serving.
