Instructions

1- Prepare the Chicken:

  • Slice each chicken breast in half lengthwise to make four thinner cutlets.
  • Season each piece with 1 teaspoon salt and black pepper.
  • Lightly dredge the chicken cutlets in flour, ensuring an even coating.

2- Cook the Chicken:

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil and butter. Allow the butter to melt completely.
  • Add the chicken to the skillet and sear for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer the chicken to a plate and set aside.

3- Prepare the Sauce:

  • Reduce the heat to medium and add the chopped shallot and garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
