Ingredients
Shrimp Marinade
🍤 2 pounds raw deveined shrimp
🧄 1 teaspoon garlic powder
🥗 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
🌶 1 teaspoon paprika
🍋 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
🧂 1 teaspoon salt
🌶 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
🌶 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (or to taste)
🫒 2 tablespoons olive oil
🫒 2 more tablespoons olive oil (for cooking shrimp)
Sauce and Rest of Ingredients
🍝 1 pound linguine (boil according to package directions)
🧈 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
🧄 7 cloves of garlic
🧅 1 large shallot
🧄 1 teaspoon garlic powder
🌶 1 teaspoon paprika
🍋 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
🧂 1/2 teaspoon salt
🥗 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
🌶 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
🌶 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
🍋 Zest of 1 lemon
🍋 Juice of 1 lemon
🥛 1 and 1/2 cups heavy cream
🧀 1 cup fresh grated Parmesan cheese
💧 1 cup reserved pasta water
🌿 1/2 cup fresh chopped parsley

🌿 Fresh chopped parsley
🧀 Grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
1- Marinate the Shrimp:
- In a bowl, combine the cleaned, deveined, and pat-dried shrimp with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika, lemon pepper, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Let marinate for 15 minutes or cook immediately if short on time.
2- Cook the Shrimp:
- Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
- Cook the shrimp in batches for 2 minutes per side or until pink. Transfer to a plate.
3- Cook the Pasta:
- While the shrimp cook, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the pasta and cook to al dente per package instructions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain the pasta.
4- Prepare the Sauce:
- In the same pan used for the shrimp, melt 6 tablespoons of butter and add the chopped shallot and garlic.
- Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
5- Season the Sauce:
- Add garlic powder, paprika, lemon pepper, salt, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Add the lemon zest and juice, stirring well. Pour in the heavy cream and let simmer, stirring occasionally, until the sauce slightly thickens (about 2 minutes).
6- Combine with Pasta:
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing quickly to coat.
- Mix in the grated Parmesan cheese and toss again. Add the reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
7- Finish the Dish:
- Return the cooked shrimp and juices to the pan. Add the fresh parsley and toss everything together.
- Serve immediately with garnish of fresh parsley and more Parmesan cheese.
