🧈 2 tablespoons butter
🛢 2 tablespoons oil
💧 4 cups warm water (or 3 1/2 cups if you prefer it drier)
🧂 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
For the Grilled Chicken Wings:
1- Marinate the Chicken:
- In a large bowl, combine the wings with lemon juice, chicken seasoning, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, Sazón seasoning, and oil.
- Mix thoroughly to ensure each wing is coated evenly.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours, or overnight for stronger flavor.
2- Prepare the Grill:
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated wings onto skewers for easy grilling or place them directly on the grill.
3- Grill the Wings:
- Grill for about 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally, until the wings are cooked through and have a delicious char.
For the Red Bulgur Pilaf:
1- Prepare the Bulgur:
- Rinse the bulgur under cold water and let it drain.
2- Cook the Vermicelli:
- In a large pot, melt butter and heat oil over medium heat.
- Add the vermicelli and cook until golden brown, stirring constantly.
3- Sauté the Vegetables:
- Stir in the chopped onion, tomato, garlic, and jalapeño. Sauté until the onion is soft and translucent.
4- Combine Ingredients:
- Add the tomato sauce and chicken bouillon, stirring to combine well.
5- Simmer the Pilaf:
- Pour in the warm water and add the bulgur. Stir, bring to a boil, and then reduce the heat.
- Cover and let simmer until the water is absorbed and the bulgur is tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt or chicken bouillon if necessary.
6- Finish the Pilaf:
- Once done, remove from heat and let it sit covered for 5 minutes before fluffing with a fork.
