Ingredients
π₯© 1 pound ground beef
π― 6 large flour tortillas
π§ 1 packet taco seasoning
πΆοΈ 1 bell pepper, chopped
π§
1 onion, chopped
πΏ 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
π§ 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
π
1 tomato, diced
π₯¬ 1 cup lettuce, shredded
π Optional: 1 avocado, sliced
π₯ 6 tostadas
π₯ 1 cup sour cream
πΆοΈ Hot sauce, to taste
π§ Butter spray or cooking spray
Instructions
1- Prepare the Ground Beef:
- In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until it is browned.
- Drain any excess fat if necessary.
- Add chopped bell pepper, onion, and parsley to the beef. Stir in the taco seasoning and let it cook for an additional 5 minutes.
2- Assemble the Crunch Wraps:
- Lay a large tortilla on a flat surface. In the center, place a tostada.
- Top the tostada with a generous spoonful of the seasoned ground beef mixture.
- Add cheddar cheese, a dollop of sour cream, hot sauce, diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and any other toppings to taste (like avocado slices).
- Fold the edges of the tortilla toward the center, creating pleats to enclose the filling. The wrap should have a flat bottom once folded.
3- Cook the Crunch Wraps:
- Preheat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly coat with butter spray or cooking spray.
- Place the assembled crunch wrap, folded side down, onto the pan.
- Cook for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown and sealed, then flip and brown the other side for an additional 2-3 minutes.
4- Serve:
- Once both sides are crispy and golden, remove from the pan and let it cool slightly before serving.
- Enjoy your homemade crunch wraps with additional hot sauce on the side if desired.
