🍞 1 1/2 tablespoons of yeast
🫒 1/4 cup of olive oil
🍬 1 tablespoon of sugar
💧 2 and 1/3 cups of warm water
🫒 1 tablespoon of olive oil (for bowl)

For the White Sauce:
🥛 1 and 1/2 cups of milk
🌾 2 tablespoons of flour
🧈 4 tablespoons of butter
🧀 1 cup of parmesan cheese
🧄 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
🧂 1/4 teaspoon of salt
🌶️ 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper

For the Toppings:
🥩 1 14oz tray of shaved beef or steak meat
🧅 1 medium-sized onion
🌶️ 1 bell pepper (any color)
🍄 1 cup of sliced mushrooms (optional)
🍲 1 tablespoon of Montreal steak seasoning
🧀 Mozzarella cheese
🧀 Provolone cheese (optional)

Instructions

1- Prepare the Dough:

  • In a large bowl, combine yeast and sugar with 1 cup of warm water. Let it sit for 5 minutes until it begins to foam.
  • Add salt, olive oil, and flour to the yeast mixture. Gradually add the remaining water and knead the dough until smooth.
  • Grease a bowl with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, place the dough in the bowl, and cover with a heavy towel. Let it rest for 40 minutes to 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.

2- Make the White Sauce:

  • Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add flour and whisk until combined.
  • Slowly add milk, whisking continuously to prevent lumps. Add parmesan cheese, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce is smooth. Set aside.

3- Prepare the Toppings:

  • Heat a skillet over high heat. Add the shaved beef and cook for 5 minutes or until fully cooked.
  • Add the sliced mushrooms, onion, bell pepper, and Montreal steak seasoning. Sauté for a few more minutes until the vegetables are tender. Remove from heat.

4- Assemble the Pizza:

  • Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
  • Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  • Spread the white sauce evenly over the dough.
  • Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella and provolone cheese over the sauce.
  • Add the cooked steak and vegetable mixture on top.
  • Finish with another layer of cheese.

5- Bake:

  • Transfer the pizza to a baking tray or pizza stone and place it in the oven.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.

6- Enjoy:

  • Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven. Allow it to cool slightly, slice, and serve.
