Ingredients
📦 1 box of brownie mix
🥚 2 eggs
🌾 1/3 cup flour
🫒 1/2 cup oil
🍫 1 cup dark chocolate chips (or semi-sweet)
🍫 2 Reese’s chocolate peanut butter bars (7.37oz each)
🥜 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
🧂 Flaky salt (optional)
Instructions
1- Preheat and Prep:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2- Mix the Wet Ingredients:
- In a large bowl, crack the eggs and add the oil.
- Mix well until thoroughly combined.
3- Incorporate the Dry Ingredients:
- Add the brownie mix and flour to the wet ingredients.
- Stir until you have a smooth, consistent batter.
4- Add the Chocolate:
- Chop one of the Reese’s chocolate bars into bite-sized pieces.
- Fold these, along with the dark chocolate chips, into your batter.
5- Form Cookies:
- Using a 2-tablespoon cookie scoop, shape the dough into balls.
- You should have about 18 balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet, spaced about 2 inches apart.
6- Top and Bake:
- Chop the second Reese’s bar and place two pieces on top of each cookie.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 8-9 minutes.
7- Cool:
- Once baked, remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the tray for 5-10 minutes before transferring to a wire cooling rack.
8- Peanut Butter Drizzle:
- Microwave the peanut butter for 30 seconds to soften it.
- Drizzle it over the cooled cookies. Sprinkle with flaky salt, if desired, and allow the peanut butter to set for about 10 minutes before serving.
