Instructions

1- Sauté Aromatics:

  • In a large pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped onions and minced garlic, sautéing until the mixture is translucent and fragrant.

2- Cook the Beef:

  • Add the ground beef to the pan, using a spatula to break it up into small pieces.
  • Season with allspice, salt, and cinnamon.
  • Cook until the beef is browned and fully cooked.

3- Incorporate Vegetables:

  • Stir in the diced carrots and peas.
  • Cook for an additional 5 minutes until the vegetables start to soften.
  • Remove the beef and vegetable mixture from the pan and set aside.

4- Prepare the Rice:

  • In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of oil.
  • Add the rice, stirring to coat each grain with oil.
