🌶️ 1 teaspoon chili flakes
⚫ 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
🍅 2 pounds of cherry tomatoes, halved
🧂 1 teaspoon of salt
🌿 A handful of fresh basil leaves, chopped

💧 1 cup of reserved pasta water
Instructions
1- Cook the Pasta:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil.

2- Prepare the Tomato Sauce:
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

- Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet, stirring to combine with the spices. Cover and allow the mixture to cook for approximately 5 minutes or until the tomatoes are soft.
4- Finish the Sauce:
- Using a spatula, gently crush the softened tomatoes. Season the mixture with salt and add the chopped fresh basil. Stir to combine all the elements.
5- Combine with Pasta:
- Add the cooked pasta, 1 cup of grated parmesan cheese, and 1 cup of reserved pasta water to the skillet. Toss everything together until the pasta is thoroughly coated with the sauce, and the cheese has melted smoothly into the dish.
