🧅 1 medium onion
🧄 2 cloves of garlic
🌶️ 1 jalapeño
🫑 1 red bell pepper
🌿 A handful of parsley (about 1/2 a bunch)
🌶️ 2 tablespoons pepper paste
🧂 1 tablespoon salt
⚫ 1 teaspoon black pepper
🌿 1 teaspoon cumin
🌿 1 teaspoon coriander
🌶️ 1 teaspoon paprika
🌕 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
🍅 Cherry tomatoes
Instructions
1- Preheat the Oven:
- Start by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C).
2- Prepare the Vegetables:
- In a food processor, mince the onion, garlic, jalapeño, bell pepper, and parsley until finely chopped.
3- Mix the Ingredients:
- In a large bowl, combine the minced vegetable mixture with the ground beef.
- Add the pepper paste, salt, black pepper, cumin, coriander, paprika, and turmeric.
- Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
4- Shape the Kebabs:
- Take about 2 to 3 tablespoons of the meat mixture and shape them into small football-shaped kebabs.
- Ensure they are not too thin or small to prevent them from drying out during baking.
5- Bake the Kebabs:
- Place the shaped kebabs on a tray lined with parchment paper.
- Scatter cherry tomatoes around them.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
- For a charred appearance, broil the kebabs for the last minute of
cooking.
