Ingredients

🧈 2 sticks of unsalted butter at room temperature
🧂 2/3 cups sugar
🍦 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Instructions

1- Preheat Oven:

  • Add in the egg and vanilla extract, then beat again until everything is fully incorporated.

4- Incorporate Flour:

  • Scrape down the bowl once more.
  • Add the flour.
  • Mix until fully combined and a smooth dough forms.

5- Form Cookie Dough Balls:

  • Using an ice cream scoop, portion out the dough into balls that are about 1 tablespoon each.
  • Roll each ball thoroughly to ensure it is smooth and without cracks.

6- Prepare For Baking:

  • Arrange the dough balls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, leaving about 2 inches of space between each.
  • Gently press an indent in the center of each cookie with a 3/4 or 1/2 teaspoon, or simply use your thumb.

7- Fill with Preserves:
