Ingredients
🌰 12 Medjool dates
🥄 4 tablespoons peanut butter
🥜 12 whole almonds
🥜 12 whole cashews
🥜 12 whole pistachios
🍫 200g dark or milk chocolate
🌰 2 tablespoons crushed almonds
🌰 2 tablespoons crushed cashews
🌰 2 tablespoons crushed pistachios
🥜 2 tablespoons crushed roasted peanuts
Instructions
1- Prepare the Dates:
- Begin by carefully making a slit down the side of each Medjool date and remove the pit. Be sure not to cut all the way through the date.
2- Fill the Dates:
- In the cavity of each date, add a small amount of peanut butter, just enough to fill it.
- Insert one whole almond, one cashew, and one pistachio into each date alongside the peanut butter.
3- Melt the Chocolate:
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and fully melted. Alternatively, use a double boiler to melt the chocolate.
4- Dip the Dates:
- Using a fork or a dipping tool, carefully dip each filled date into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated.
- Allow any excess chocolate to drip off before placing the date on a lined baking sheet.
5- Add the Toppings:
- While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle a combination of crushed almonds, cashews, pistachios, and roasted peanuts on top of each chocolate-covered date.
6- Set the Chocolate:
- Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate has fully set.
7- Serve and Enjoy:
- Once set, serve these delectable treats as a sweet snack or dessert. Enjoy the rich combination of flavors and textures!
