Ingredients

🧅 1 large onion, diced small

Instructions

1- Prepare the Meat Sauce:

• In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
• Add the diced onion, sautéing for 3-4 minutes until softened.
• Stir in the chopped garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and chili flakes. Cook until fragrant.

2- Cook the Beef:

• Add the ground beef to the pan and cook until it's no longer pink.
• Pour in the marinara sauce and add the black pepper.
• Mix well, cover, and let the sauce simmer on low heat for about an hour to let all the flavors combine harmoniously.

3- Assemble the Casserole:

• Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
• In a casserole dish, begin by spooning 2-3 ladles of the meat sauce at the bottom.
• Layer with ravioli, followed by more meat sauce, then add mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
• Repeat these layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a generous layer of cheese on top.
