🥚 2 eggs
🧀 Boursin garlic and fine herbs cream cheese
🌶️ Optional: chili flakes
Instructions
1- Preheat the Oven:
- Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2- Prepare the Croissants:
- Place the croissants on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Using a sharp knife, carefully cut the tops off the croissants.
- Gently pull out some of the bread inside to create a hollow "boat," being careful not to pierce the sides or bottom.
3- Fill with Cheese:
- Spoon about 2 tablespoons of Boursin cream cheese into each croissant boat.
- Adjust the amount based on the size of your croissants.
4- Add the Eggs:
- Crack one egg into each croissant, on top of the cream cheese.
- Optionally, you can season the eggs with salt and pepper if desired.
5- Bake:
- Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 15-17 minutes, or until the egg whites are set to your liking.
- Adjust the baking time if you prefer your yolks more or less runny.
6- Garnish and Serve:
- Once baked, remove the croissant boats from the oven.
- Garnish with a sprinkle of chili flakes or any other spices or sauces you like.
